When talking about excercises one usually means activities that consume a lot of energy. In contrary to that Chi Kung transforms and raises ones energy level. The style taught in this school is called in chinese Zhan Zhuang ("dscham dschong") and literally means "Standing like a tree".

When training Zhan Zhuang one stands in carefully balanced positions and keeps them for a longer period of time. The imagination that our body is supported and carried by a set of ballons enables us to relax in those positions. According to the individual progress in the excercises the difficulty of the positions is increased and by that intensifies the flow of energy.

From the positions evolve fluent movements ("Shi Li"), that gain more and more of dynamic and find their application in partnerwork. Connecting the movements with breath and imagination, body and mind act as a single entity.
